Earlier this year, global festival giant DGTL (pronounced: digital) announced its highly anticipated 5th edition in India this October, along with a line-up of stellar international & domestic artists. With a legacy of world-class live music experiences, DGTL will once again take over Bengaluru and Mumbai, transforming each city into a pulsating hub of cutting-edge sound, international and local talent, and signature festival design.
The venues will feature impressive warehouse-style industrial spaces and breezy open-air outdoor areas, across three stages with DGTL’s cutting-edge stage and lighting designs. The production at the festival is set to be best-in-class with state-of-the-art visual experiences, kinetic lightscapes, and next-gen visuals by homegrown creative collectives, giving a one-of-a-kind look to the stages, as well as a sound system architecture tailored for deep dancefloor moments.
Besides the iconic stages & production, DGTL is also renowned for its commitment to sustainability. Across the pillars of resources, energy, mobility, sanitation, and food; all aspects of the festival are carefully thought through to minimize ecological footprint as much as possible while making a positive impact on those around.
DGTL India has also partnered with 100 Pipers Travel Gear to make the 5th edition, the most sustainable edition of the festival in the country thus far. This collaboration reflects a shared commitment to sustainability, innovation, and positive social impact. Eco-friendly measures such as waste reduction, segregation & recycling, only vegetarian & vegan food, reusable beverage cups, and lowered energy consumption by using less generators and more green energy from the venues, are a l in place to bring to festival-goers a well-rounded, forward-thinking sustainable experience.
Additionally, DGTL India and 100 Pipers Travel Gear are also building sustainable solutions together such as reusable rice husk glasses, brand experiences on-ground that are made from recycled materials & powered by kinetic energy and other community & partner-led initiatives such as tree planting, beach cleanups, and donation drives. In a symbolic highlight of this collaboration, the iconic ‘Modular’ stage in Bengaluru will be rebranded as the ‘Modular by 100 Pipers Play for a Cause’ stage — underscoring both brands’ aligned vision to create experiences that matter.
100 Pipers Travel Gear inspires people to go beyond material markers of success to create a positive impact on the world to ‘Be Remembered for Good’. The brand’s platform, ‘100 Pipers Play for a Cause,’ is an initiative that enables people to be actively involved in creating a positive impact on the world.
