The Weekend Releases His Brand New Single 'Save Your Tears'
New Year, New The Weekend
The Weeknd has just released the music video to his new song Save Your Tears, which had fans talking about it for more than one reason! While fans love the music, the singer had everyone in shock after he appeared on the clip with almost unrecognisable face which looked like a result of extreme botox and fillers.
The brand new single follows the story he’s been telling since dropping the music video for “Heartless” in November 2019. “Heartless” sees The Weeknd tripping while partying in Vegas. Then, in the “Blinding Lights” video, he gets even more hurt. The clip for “In Your Eyes” ends with the singer being decapitated, then in the “Too Late” video his head is attached to someone else’s body. This was followed by several awards show appearances where he was seen wearing facial bandages. Now, in the “Save Your Tears” video, the bandages have come off.
The canadian artist fans have several theories about what he’s trying to say. Some think the video contains a diss at the Grammys, which snubbed his album “After Hours” despite it being one of the most critically and commercially successful albums of 2020.
Amid all the surrounding controversy his previous album we are very much excited to see how his brand new single performs on the charts.
