Excision launches Subsidia Records
Jeff Abel better known by his stage name Excision is a household name in dance music community. Known for his dark, bass-heavy sounds created by using bass and drums, the aggressiveness of metal, and hip-hop vibes. He is also known for his tours with immense sound systems and huge visual productions. There’s no denying that Excision has been one of the most influential artists in the bass music community over the past decade. From playing spectacular sets and dropping massive tracks to creating huge and beautiful stages and launching his own festivals, it seems as if there’s nothing stopping him to reach the top.
After spending two weeks over Excision‘s mysterious countdown, the Canadian dubstep icon officially revealed his new label, Subsidia Records. Excision has consistently been delivering his fans with lots of unexpected surprises and his streak continues with the launch of this label with 118 new songs, Four new mixes, which will all feature their own unique sound while maintaining Excision’s aura will also be released, as well as his Lost lands : Couch Lands 3 virtual set which made waves in this pandemic is also set to release. The songs will consist of three compilations, Night Vol. 1, Dusk: Vol. 1, and Dawn: Vol. 1, which will feature heavy bass tracks, the egregious sounds of experimental bass, and the more melodic, emotional side of bass music, respectively.
