Love for music is something which we all dance music lovers share passionately and never crib to leave even a tiny bit of it expressed to the world.
But it’s not just about the fans, the artists as well always try to push the boundaries to make sure that all the revelers have an “A” grade concert experience via their signature sounds, but sometimes, this dedication & passion for music goes to greater heights, which significantly might not be approved by many as it can cost the life of the artist himself/herself.
In such an incident talking place at Poland, when Ben Nicky was prepping up to perform for a strong crowd of 7,000+ music enthusiasts at the Euforia festival, things didn’t go quite as planned.
Better explained by Ben himself, in his own words via a Facebook post :-
“1 minute before I went on stage last night, I ripped my ear like a bitch. Didn’t tell anyone and still played my full set with blood filling my headphones and running down my face.
It wasn’t until I got back to the hotel, I realised how much blood I lost, I’d split some blood vessels and had to call an ambulance as it wouldn’t stop.
Feel fucked but no way was I cancelling the show 🙃 No pain no gain”
Ben Nicky who will soon be releasing “The Switch” alongwith Chris Schweizer on Who’s afraid of 138, is widely supported by Armin Van Buuren, Tiesto and Gareth Emery for his distinctive sounds and is also acclaimed as “An an essential part of my live sets” by Paul Van Dyk.
It’s easy to see how Ben Nicky has tattooed his mark on the scene to become one of the most sought-after uplifting and psy trance DJ on the circuit right now.
And not just this, but we’re pretty sure that this guy will never leave any stone unturned to prove his passion.
Take care & we hope that you get well soon Nicky!
