Above and Beyond announce stellar lineup for ABGT200

Last night the world experienced something magical while listening to Above & Beyond’s weekly radio show Group Therapy – Episode 192. Since 2012, Group Therapy has been one of the most listened to radio show across the world. As Above & Beyond approach yet another milestone episode, they had a special announcement for their audience. The artist lineup for ABGT200 was announced last night. And this lineup is certainly one of the their best since TATW450/ABGT001 in Bangalore, India.

Ziggo Dome, Amsterdam will become home to thousands of strangers who will become best of friends come 24th September as ABGT 200 is on the cards. The stellar line up includes the names of Stalwarts from the Anjunadeep and Anjunabeats roster with a special B2B set too. Let’s take a look at the lineup.

Cubicolor is the deeper side of 16 Bit Lolitas. And over the years they have managed to climb up the Anjunadeep ranks. Their trademark deep and progressive productions are almost always made iwth a touch of an emotional flair. The addition of Cubicolor to the ABGT200 Lineup once again proves the power of the deeper side of music. Last eyar, ABGT150 saw the deep fort held strong by Lane 8 and this year we have one of the best deep producers out there. We are super excited to start off the ABGT200 proceedings with Cubicolor.

Describing himself as a ‘Total Music Nerd’, songwriter, DJ and record producer Yotto is one of Finland’s finest export to the dance music scene. Yotto makes no qualms about the fact that he listens to pretty much any genre there is, as long as the music is great. Yotto has been a regular on the Anjunadeep label. He recently had a fantastic tour of India and a very successful North America tour with the complete Anjunadeep roster. He has been churning out new EPs since 2015 and each track is a stellar blend of deep sound blended with soulful vocals and ambient influences. His recent releases on Anjunadeep, Aviate and Crosswalk received tremendous response from the likes of Above & Beyond, Pete Tong and Eric Prydz himself. After a great set at the PRYDA vs MAU5TRAP stage at Tomorrowland 2016, we very much expected the Finnish sensation to be on the ABGT200 lineup as well. Looks like our wish was granted. 🙂

Graeme Sheperd aka GRUM is one of the most talented artists on the Anjunabeats label right now. Grum is well known for his signature style of productions which have a unique upbeat and melodious feel to them. Since his debut album in 2008, Grum has come a long way and the journey has been a very successful one. Over the years he has released some spell binding singles and remixes which have made the audience dance their shoes off at various clubs and festivals across the world. Grum also had a successful India Tour with Above & Beyond in 2015 and played a magical set at VH1 Supersonic Goa 2015. Grum also has been on top of the iTunes chart and has also received a host of awards for his albums. He was also invited to do the Essential Mix on BBC Radio 1 in 2014. This will be the second time Grum will be on an ABGT Milestone event after playing at ABGT150 last year. We are looking forward to listening to some of his new unreleased works at the ABGT200 celebrations.

Jason Ross can very well be termed as the Find of 2014 for the Anjunabeats A&R Team.  Jason caught Above & Beyond’s attention with his track Burma and was quickly signed onto Anjunabeats. He was the first artist to be signed up by Anjunabeats in over 2 years. This chain of events only escalated his success. Soon after being signed by Anjunabeats, Jason released some stellar productions like Cairo , Atlas and the 2015 club anthem Elements. Jason has also provided some stunning remixes of some Anjunabeats releases. His remix of Parker & Hansen’s Gravity was widely acclaimed. Jason has also been assigned the responsibility of putting together the next edition of Anjunabeats WorldWide compilation. With the support and praises he has been constantly garnering from the industry stalwarts, we are very pleased to see Jason Ross on the ABGT200 lineup. The lad surely deserves it.

We certainly don’t have to give you guys much introduction of these two gentlemen. Andrew Bayer and Ilan Bluestone have been label legends in the Anjunabeats camp. Both have previously been a part of the ABGT milestone celebrations across the globe apart from headlining various Anjunabeats World Tours. Andrew has been an active member of the Above & Beyond production team and has lend his touch to many of the trio’s hits over the years. Andrew released the Anamnesis EP last year and received massive responsive and praise for the same. Over the years, Andrew has managed to churn out stellar productions like England, Bullet Catch, Celestial and Superhuman. His sets at some of the biggest music festivals have received critical acclaim from fans and other artists alike. Expect to see a series of ID tunes that night from Mr. Bayer. On the other hand, Ilan has been the poster boy of Anjunabeats for a few years now. Since bursting onto Anjunabeats with his debut solo release back in 2012, London-based producer ilan Bluestone’s whirlwind journey through the international dance music scene has been nothing short of monumental. His tracks have been an integral part of Above & Beyond’s sets on their world tours and also a big part of the Anjunabeats compilations. Ilan also mixed the Anjunabeats Worldwide 05 compilation. Ilan has also been on top of the Beatport Trance charts numerous for his hits like Spheres, Cloudchaser, 43 and many more. You put Andrew and Ilan together and you get a formula for absolute mayhem. With the kind of energy these 2 have we expect them to close the night at ABGT200 with what we feel would be a performance we will never forget.

Apart from the stellar lineup above, we will as always have a Deep set from Above & Beyond and a main set from the trio too. Overall this night looks to be one for the books. We will be tuned in to the Facebook Love Broadcast and will also stream the same on our Facebook page. So let’s wait for the 24th of September. 🙂
